A few things to keep in mind before booking your yoga workshop
- Yoga can help with many ailments, but if you have any particular concerns or health issues, or are suffering from any illness or injury, we advise you to consult a qualified medical practitioner beforehand.
- This intensive workshop is quite demanding physically and mentally and as such is more suitable for yoga practitioners who already have some experience and wish to go deeper in their practice.
- It is important to refrain from eating at least two hours before class and not to drink at least 30 minutes before class. We strongly discourage drinking anything during Asana practice; however, it is important to drink plenty of water after your session.
- You should wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing, preferably made of natural fibres. Bring a towel, a sense of humour and an open-minded willingness to learn.
- For your own peace of mind, and out of respect for other participants, we request that your telephone be kept switched off during classes and ideally for the entire duration of the workshop. Please refrain from using perfume or strong smelling deodorants. We expect our course participants to be non-smokers - at least for the duration of the workshop.
PS Bring an empty water bottle and help reduce unnecessary plastic waste.
Disclaimer: In November 2008 the Malaysian National Fatwa Council shocked the world by imposing a fatwa on yoga in Malaysia. According to this ruling Muslims may not practice yoga in Malaysia.
According to the terms of our business license Yoga Now is obliged to respect this ruling and does not accept any Muslims for our yoga classes, yoga workshops or any of our yoga retreats held in Malaysia.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or offence this may cause and we thank you for your understanding.
